Doug Skierski is a co-founder and managing partner of Roquemore Skierski PLLC and an AV-rated commercial litigator with more than 25 years of experience handling bankruptcy, commercial restructuring, creditors’ rights, receiverships, and complex business disputes. His practice includes breach of contract claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, business fraud matters, subrogation, and other high-stakes commercial litigation. He also represents clients in cases involving temporary restraining orders and injunctions, where fast court action can protect assets, preserve business operations, and prevent further harm while a dispute moves through litigation or arbitration.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Skierski has been a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and has served as a mediator and arbitrator for more than 20 years. That experience gives him a practical perspective on case strategy, settlement value, and the real cost of prolonged business conflict. Before co-founding Roquemore Skierski PLLC, he held partner roles at prominent Texas firms, including Locke Lord, and was a founding partner of Franklin Skierski Lovall Hayward LLP and Skierski Jain LLP.
Mr. Skierski earned his J.D. from SMU School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of Barristers and received the A.J. Thomas Award. He also holds advanced degrees in psychology and professional counseling. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers and holds an AV Preeminent rating.
