Professional Background

Kelvin earned his J.D. cum laude from Tulane Law School, where he was Founding President of the Tulane Business Law Society and served in multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and the Tulane Black Law Student Association. He also served as Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy program, and holds a certification in computer forensics.

 

Over his 25+ year legal career, Kelvin has focused on trial strategy, eDiscovery, and commercial litigation. He previously served as senior counsel for a Fortune 500 company and worked at litigation firms across Texas, developing deep experience handling business-critical disputes. Before entering the legal profession, Kelvin worked as a commercial lender—a background that gives him practical insight into business operations, financial structuring, and risk mitigation.

 

He is admitted to practice in Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
