About Alex L. Davis

Alex Davis is a senior commercial litigation and transactional attorney who represents businesses in transactions, contract review, corporate matters, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and real estate disputes across Texas. He advises clients in both state and federal courts and brings a rare combination of legal experience, transactional experience, and hands-on construction industry knowledge to his practice. His work includes business disputes, construction contract issues, corporate counsel, and litigation involving operational and project-based conflicts.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University and worked as a Project Engineer for major construction firms, including Hunt Construction and Brown & Root. His project experience included Minute Maid Park, the Naval Base in Pensacola, Florida, and cost-estimating work tied to U.S. military operations in the Balkans. That background gives him direct insight into construction contracts, scheduling, project administration, and industry standards, which is especially valuable in construction disputes and real estate litigation.

Mr. Davis earned his Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2005. He was granted oral argument before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on his first appeal and has since represented clients in trial and appellate matters at both the state and federal levels. Most recently, he served as in-house counsel for VestorCorp Management and Syberstorm Inc., where he handled employment matters, lending practices, government contracting, and contract review. As the founder of Dragon City Farms, a hydroponic business in Dallas, he also brings firsthand business ownership experience to his representation of companies and entrepreneurs
